How to use Trim Video

  1. Drop or choose your video.
  2. In the player, go to the start and press “Set start here”, then to the end and press “Set end here”. You can also type times like 1:25.
  3. Click “Trim Video” and download the clip.

Frequently asked questions

How do I type a time?

Use minutes:seconds (1:25), hours:minutes:seconds (1:02:30) or plain seconds (85). Decimals work too: 12.5. Leave the end empty to keep the video to the end.

Is the cut frame-accurate?

Yes. If a cut point doesn’t land on a key frame, that part is re-encoded so the clip starts and ends exactly where you chose.

Can I make the clip smaller?

Yes, compress the downloaded clip with Compress Video or turn it into a GIF with Video to GIF.
